Passover Shabbat Prayer
Abba Father,
We enter into Your presence, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, giving thanks and praise for Shabbat and the Holy Sacrifice of Your Son, Yeshua Jesus, the Lamb of God!
As we prepare our hearts to celebrate Shabbat and tell the story of the First Feast of Passover (Exodus 12:1-20; Leviticus 23:5-8 and Deuteronomy 16:1-3 TLV) which was a foreshadowing of Yeshua’s Sacrifice to take away the sins of world, we rejoice in Your Great Love and Mercies as we welcome Shabbat!
We thank You that created Shabbat for us and it was through by the cutting of the New Covenant of the Blood of the Lamb of God (Matthew 26:17-19, Mark 14:12-16; and Luke 22:7-13 TLV) that we have Eternal Life and will dwell in the rest of Shabbat with the Lamb forever!
Heavenly Father, we pray for a cleansing of our hearts by the Blood of Yeshua for the Feast of the Unleavened Bread so that we might “Get rid of the old hametz, so You may be a new batch, just as You are Unleavened—for Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed (Corinthians 5:7 (TLV). We give thanks that Yeshua’s Precious Blood was sacrificed and poured out for us!
Abba Father, we acknowledge that this Passover is a “Special Covenant Blessing” for us! We pray in faith, believing that just as You delivered the Hebrew’s First Born Son from the Angel of Death by the blood of a lamb which You commanded to be placed over the door post of their homes, You will also deliver us from the Coronavirus Plague as we pray and place the Blood of Yeshua (the Lamb of God) over our hearts and our homes!
We also pray for this Passover to be a Special Blessing for Israel, the Jewish People! We pray the blinders be lifted from their eyes that they might come to knowledge of Yeshua and receive Him as their ADONAI, Messiah, and King!
We pray that You will once again Passover the Sons and daughters of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel) so that they will have the light of Yeshua just as they were blessed with light in Goshen.
Abba, we pray for the Ekklesia, Your called Body, that our eyes will be opened to the Blessing of obeying Your command as spoken by the Apostle Paul, “Therefore let us celebrate the Feast not with old hametz, the hametz of malice and wickedness, but with Unleavened Bread-the matzah of sincerity an truth (1 Corinthians 5:8 TLV). We celebrate Yeshua, the First Fruit (Leviticus 23:9-14 and 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 TLV).
We give thanks and praise to You; knowing that we overcome by the Blood of Lamb and word of our testimony that: “We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that we may proclaim the praises of the One who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.(TLV).”
Therefore, we purpose to tell and proclaim both the First Passover and the Passover of Yeshua, the New Covenant, the Lamb of God!
We say Amen and Amen!
